Introduction | Sri Lanka Handicrafts Board (Laksala) was established under the National Crafts Council and Allied Institutions Act, No.35 of 1982.Laksala is the only State owned Gift and Souvenir Boutique. This institution has perceived various changes with an eternally growing list of products on sale. Through branches located island wide, Laksala offers the extensive variety of all Sri Lankan products at a reasonable price. This organization enables numerous industries which supply goods for it to stay profitable in business. An eclectic blend of items ranging from tea and spices to, colorful batik ware to, an elaborate collection of art and craft as well as traditional Sri Lankan Gems and Jewellery are in Laksala Stores.
